Kerala is etching its name in the World of Adventure Sports through various Government initiatives in this domain. Para Gliding, Para sailing, White Water rafting, Dirt bike racing, Mountain and Rock climbing is getting popular. Sailing Regettas are organised by clubs in Kochi and other sea ports. Para Gliding has gained International acclaim last year in the event held in Parunthumpara, Idukki district of Kerala.
