Nilgiri Thar or Mountain Goats in Munnar Kerala


Munnar is famous for its mountain goats called 'Nilgiri Thar' which are seen on high cliffs and grasslands of Eravikulam National Park. They are a highly endangered species and prefer to live in the cool and high altitudes of Munnar and Himalayas.
