Peechi Dam and Reservoir in Thrissur Kerala India

Peechi Dam in Thrissur, Kerala is a Hydro Electric Power Station as well. It is a popular tourist spot with a large garden just beneath the Waterfalls. There are Boating and Rafting facilities in the Reservoir. The Dam is surrounded by the dense forests of the western ghats and the Kerala Forest Research Institute nearby is a top notch College doing extensive research on the Tropical forests of Kerala.
