Maveli the King who returns for Onam festival in Kerala

Maveli was the just and famous King who ruled Kerala in the Olden times. Everyone was happy and prosperous during his reign. The legend says he returns to visit his kingdom during Onam. Many people dressed as Maveli or Mahabali roam the streets and homes and greets people and enquire about their welfare.
