The grand rivers of Kerala Achankovilar

Kerala has numerous rivers which originate from the hills of the western ghats and flow through the dense forests and enters the plains and finally merges in the Arabian Sea. Some rivers flow out of the state and enters the Bay of Bengal crossing either Tamilnadu or Karnataka. The murky green water of this river indicates that it is coming from the dense forests and jungles washing along the thick foliage and uprooting trees and plants in its downhill rush. The rocks are pounded mercilessly to sand and soil and the thick foliage is churned and crushed by the roaring rapids and the whole wild stream then falls several meters down in a waterfall and the dark green juices of nature flows downstream to join the eternal sea.
