Pulikali during Onam the famous Tiger and Lion dance

Pulikali is a colourful event during Onam where men gets their body painted to look like Tiger and Lion and dance to special drum beats in the main streets of Thrissur, Kerala, India. The painstaking process of painting and then post event removing the paint is forgotten by the artists who just want to enjoy and have maximum fun during Onam. Each years scores of foreign tourists come to witness the grand event.
