Puttu or Rice powder steam Cake from Kerala is the one of the most famous dish from Kerala. The rice powder mixed with water and salt is filled in steel cylindrical cases or sometimes in old days, bamboo rollers are steamed to have a white steamy cake. It is usually eaten with Kadala curry (Bengal gram) or small yellow bananas etc.
