Onam the festival of flowers

Onam is the grand festival of Kerala which is celebrated with Flowers. Flower decorations called Pookkalam will adorn every household and Offices across Kerala. People celebrate Onam with a week long festivity and eat the Onasadya which is an elaborate Lunch ceremony with numerous dishes, fries, sweets, fruit and dessert.
