Thrissur Pooram is world famous for the Elephant exhibition with hundreds of caparisoned and elaborately decorated Elephants stand face to face and people displaying colourful and attractive Umbrellas and other items infront of millions of "Pooram" fans from all corners of the globe. Tourists throng the Temple city during Pooram which falls in March - April months. There will be mind blowing performances by highly talented artists who show off their skills in various musical instruments like drums, flutes etc.
