World Famous Pulikkali during Onam festival in Kerala India

Pulikkali is the world famous parade of human Lions and Tigers of various sizes and shapes strolling the main boulevard "Swaraj Round" in Thrissur during the Onam days. Men and even Women and Kids painted to look like Lion, Tiger, Cheetah, Leopard etc dance and walk on then main street with millions of spectators watching the ceremony. It is the 4th day of Onam and tourists from abroad come every year to watch the parade which is the equivalent of the Rio festival here in Kerala minus the scantily clad girls ofcourse.
