Coconut Climbing in Kerala


Coconut is everywhere in Kerala and hence the name. Kera means Coconut in Malayalam, the local language. Coconut climbing is very interesting with a pair of Coir straps held by hand and legs, the person climbs the Coconut tree in a special clutch and lift technic.
