There are several people interested in the ancient vedic Hindu ritual of Athirathram and its effects on humankind and the environment in the area where the Yaga is conducted. The most common after effect is a thunder shower soon after the altar used for the yaga is set ablaze. There are several people from India and abroad researching on this phenomenon including Yano a Japanese Scholar and the recently departed soul of Frits Stall of USA who did scientific research on the effects of Yaga on Nature and the sacred aura formed around the performers of the yaga.
